Ambassador Gips reflects on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela

Ambassador Donald H. Gips (Ambassador to South Africa, 2009-2013) appeared on the PBS NewsHour to reflect on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.

Ambassador Gips said, “The message that he left for all of us is one that I think the world needs, whether it's our Congress or people around the world, of putting aside our differences to work for the greater good.”
