The Council of American Ambassadors has selected the 2016 Class of International Affairs Fellows. The Fellowship program enables outstanding undergraduate students to come to Washington, D.C. and participate in a prestigious summer program that combines mentoring by former U.S. ambassadors, practical training through internships at the Department of State, and academic studies in international affairs.

The Public Diplomacy Council featured Carissa Gonzalez’ article, “The Evaluation Revolution in Public Diplomacy,” in its “Ten Best of 2015” list. Ms. Gonzalez was a Davis Public Diplomacy Fellow for 2014-2015, and her article appeared in the Fall 2015 issue the Ambassadors Review.

Applications for Summer 2016 internships at the Department of State are available on-line. To qualify for the Council’s International Affairs Fellowship, students first must be selected for a Washington, DC-based summer internship with the Department of State. Please note that the State Department's application deadline has been extended to October 23, 2015.
