On June 9, the Council hosted an orientation and dinner to welcome the 2015 CAA International Affairs Fellows.

On May 11 and 12, the Council held its Spring Conference, entitled "Middle East Mayhem: ISIS - A Deadly Reality."

The Council of American Ambassadors sponsored a mission to Cuba from February 26 through March 5. The delegation visited Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Havana and met with individuals from a cross-section of Cuban society. The purpose was to engage in educational activities and people-to-people exchange.

The Council of American Ambassadors held an Ambassadors Roundtable luncheon on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. in the Anderson Room (2nd Floor) of The Metropolitan Club. The Ambassador of Mexico, His Excellency Eduardo Medina Mora, was the guest speaker at this event.

The Council of American Ambassadors held its Fall Conference in Salt Lake City on October 19-21. The program, co-sponsored by the University of Utah Hinckley Institute of Politics, focused on Africa's future in the global economy.
