Peter H. Dailey
Ambassador Dailey is currently Chairman of Enniskerry Financial, Ltd., a private investment firm. He also is President of The Century Council, a non-profit organization that aims to reduce alcohol abuse. He is currently a member of the President's General Advisory Committee on Arms Control and Disarmament.
Mr. Dailey served as the US Ambassador to Ireland from 1982-1984. In 1983, he was appointed as the President's Personal Envoy to the NATO countries for the public diplomacy of the intermediate nuclear weapons negotiations. Ambassador Dailey also served as a Member of the Special Planning Group of the National Security Council. From 1985-1988, he served as Counselor to Director William Casey of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Prior to his government service, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Dailey International Group, an international advertising firm, until its merger with the Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. when he became its Vice Chairman and principal shareholder.
He served on numerous corporate and professional Boards and was President of the World Business Council. He was a Lieutenant in the US Navy.
