Donald and Vera Blinken's book, "Vera and the Ambassador," cited in Washington Post article

A June 12 piece in the Washington Post quoted from the book, "Vera and the Ambassador," by Council member, Ambassador Donald Blinken, and his wife, Vera. Ambassador Blinken, who served as the United States Ambassador to Hungary, describes a media-training session held during the Ambassadorial Seminar in which a speech coach subjected him to on-screen mock interviews. She “praised my performance but told me to bring a lot of glue to Hungary — ‘to glue your hands together.’ ”
