Ambassadors Roundtable with H.E. Wafa Bughaighis
On Wednesday, December 4, the Council of American Ambassadors hosted an off-the-record Ambassadors Roundtable with the Ambassador of Libya to the United States, Wafa Bughaighis. The discussion covered Russian influence in Libya, the status of in-country fighting between the Government of National Accord and General of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Haftar, and the effect of regional influences on the Libyan people.
Ambassador Timothy Chorba introduced Ambassador Bughaighis and Ambassador Gilbert Robinson moderated the session.
