Voting Overseas: A Discussion on the American Vote from Abroad

On August 14, 2020, the Council of American Ambassadors hosted David Beirne, Director of the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), for an informative discussion concerning the American vote from abroad. Mr. Beirne reviewed the processes for U.S. citizens voting from foreign countries and highlighted the challenges they may face during a global pandemic. The event was moderated by Council Member and former U.S. Ambassador to Canada, Ambassador Bruce Heyman.
