New Council Event:

We launched an outreach to all State Department interns with a new seminar deigned to expose them, live and in-person, to the careers and paths to public service of non-career Ambassadors, with the participation of Council members. We are grateful to Ambassador Arthur Culvahouse, Ambassador Philip Hughes, Ambassador Chris Landau, Ambassador Beatrice Welters, and Ambassador Aldona Wos for taking the time to share their experiences and time with the interns. The event was so successful and well received that the Department of State would like to continue these sessions for the intern classes next year.

Ambassador Hughes welcoming the interns and moderating the discussion.

Ambassador Wos sharing her story with the interns.

Interns connecting with Ambassador Welters at the conclusion of the event.
