On July 30, the Council hosted a graduation luncheon for the 2015 CAA International Affairs Fellows.
U.S. Marine Corps Embassy Security Guards Reception
In conjunction with the American Foreign Service Association, the American Academy of Diplomacy, the Foreign Area Officers Association, DACOR, and the American Foreign Service Protective Association, the Council of American Ambassadors co-sponsored a reception honoring the U.S. Marine Corps Embassy Security Guards.
2015 International Affairs Fellows Welcome Dinner
On June 9, the Council hosted an orientation and dinner to welcome the 2015 CAA International Affairs Fellows.
Spring 2015 Conference
On May 11 and 12, the Council held its Spring Conference, entitled "Middle East Mayhem: ISIS - A Deadly Reality."
2015 Mission to Cuba
The Council of American Ambassadors sponsored a mission to Cuba from February 26 through March 5. The delegation visited Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Havana and met with individuals from a cross-section of Cuban society. The purpose was to engage in educational activities and people-to-people exchange.
Fall 2014 Conference
The Council of American Ambassadors held its Fall Conference in Salt Lake City on October 19-21. The program, co-sponsored by the University of Utah Hinckley Institute of Politics, focused on Africa's future in the global economy.
Luncheon Event with Charlie Cook
On September 30, the Council of American Ambassadors and the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress co-hosted a luncheon event with Charlie Cook, editor and publisher of the Cook Political Report and political analyst for National Journal magazine.

Council of American Ambassadors 30th Anniversary Gala
The Council's 30th anniversary celebration culminated in a black-tie Gala on May 7, 2013 at the Organization of American States. Two hundred guests, including members of the Council and the Diplomatic Corps, Administration officials, business leaders and friends participated in the gala, for which Ambassador Mary Ourisman served as Chair.
Luncheon and Book Signing with William Seale
On March 11, 2014, the Council of American Ambassadors hosted a luncheon and book signing with William Seal, author of "The Imperial Season: America's Capital in the Time of the First Ambassadors, 1893-1918."
The U.S. Fiscal Debate: Our Continuing Challenge

Fall 2013 Conference
On November 19, the Council of American Ambassadors co-sponsored a conference with Georgetown University's Institute for the Study of Diplomacy. The conference focused on current events in the Middle East.
