Given Ambassador Taylor's extensive expertise and experience with Ukraine, the Council welcomed him for this highly informative Roundtable.

Ambassador William B. Taylor is Vice President, Russia and Europe at the U.S. Institute of Peace. He served as U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine from 2006 to 2009. In 2019, he was chargé d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. Previously, Ambassador Taylor was coordinator of U.S. assistance to the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
