The Council of American Ambassadors held an Ambassadors Roundtable luncheon on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. in the Anderson Room (2^nd Floor) of The Metropolitan Club. The Ambassador of France, His Excellency Gérard Araud, was the guest speaker at the event.

A robust conversation followed an introduction by Ambassador Lloyd N. Hand and Ambassador Araud's formal remarks. Questions from Ambassadors Laurie Fulton, Bruce Gelb, Thomas Graham, Elizabeth Bagley, Richard McCormack, Timothy A. Chorba, Howard Gutman and Joseph Gildenhorn covered a range of topical issues, with a focus on the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.
